Daily responsibilities include; Preparation of billings and invoices in MRI Application of tenant payments in MRI. Balance deposits to bank records to ensure proper cash application. Monitor monthly accounts receivable Work with property management to ensure preparation of delinquency notices as required. Preparation of annual budgets and common area expense Assist in month, quarter, and year end close process including posting accruals and other closing entries Complete alance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis and other requirements from management, lenders, and tax accountants. Looking for an office manager/accounting assistant to help with a construction company. Employee will need to be able to work independently, be self-directed, take initiative, and keep busy without prompting. The employee is expected to be flexible to changing work assignment, organized and detail-oriented. Employee will be expected to compose correspondence and other documentation in a professional manner and manage time to meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of construction experience, understand confidentiality, have a strong work ethic. This candidate will ideally also have basic accounting principle knowledge, Quickbook knowledge would also be a plus. Familiar with Word, Excel and report writing also a plus. Experience with procurement procedures also a plus. This is not a remote position. This position is in Tucson, AZ.
