Important: This is an unpaid, educational internship for the first 8–12 weeks (~10–20 hrs/week). Remote-friendly; Los Angeles a plus. Strong performance during the internship can lead to a paid staff role and on-screen credit in the film. About the project SACREBLEU is a music-driven environmental feature blending live action and animation across nine chapters, following a child “born from the ocean” on a transformative journey through a world choked by plastic. Chapter 1 has been shot as a proof of concept and presented at the 2025 United Nations Ocean Conference, with 13 awards to date (including Best Green & Environment Film — Berlin Indie). Planned geography includes Portugal; current budget approx. $1M. Our release and impact strategy spans limited theatrical, international streaming, museum/gallery installations, and educational circuits. Team Work directly with award-winning director Clément Oberto, who has directed campaigns for Eres, Chaumet, Morreale, Givenchy, Barrie, and music videos for Gary Clark Jr., Zhavia, Mr. Flash, Plaid, and Anjulie. Born in France and based in Los Angeles, his work has been featured in Rolling Stone, Los Angeles Times, Forbes, TIME, Billboard, earning two Vimeo Staff Picks and over 50M views in the past four years. You’ll also collaborate with producer Xenia Lappo (Moon(2023), Ashes (2024)) and a world-renowned musician (name withheld in public posts). Open roles (3) We’re looking for three motivated interns to join our team. You’ll get hands-on experience across multiple areas. These are generalist internships—each intern will handle a blend of Producing/Ops • Marketing & Impact • Partnerships/Research tasks. Example responsibilities · Producing: calendars & trackers, meeting notes, light vendor/festival coordination, materials for internal/external meetings. · Marketing & Impact: social scheduling, asset tracking, press/festival list building, NGO/community-outreach support. · Research & Partnerships: brand/grant research, contact lists & CRM hygiene, talent/company briefs. What you’ll get · Close mentorship with the core team; access (observe/participate) to high-level calls and strategy sessions. · Hands-on exposure to impact partnerships and nonprofit collaborations. · Recommendation letters upon successful completion; real-world experience you can point to. · Outcome: After the internship, one intern will be hired into a paid role and credited in the film. Mad Science is the world's leading provider of fun science programs for elementary-aged children. This is a part-time position and is somewhat seasonal. Pay for all Areas of Business (AOB) is hourly - including set-up and clean-up time.  Starting pay is $22.00-$26.00 per hour DOE, plus mileage compensation!! We are looking for HIGHLY ENERGETIC, DYNAMIC AND CONFIDENT individuals to join our growing team to conduct exciting science, engineering, and technology programs. You do NOT need to be a certified teacher (although we love that!).
