Schedule: First Shift & Second Shift Monday to Friday 8am Start 3pm Start JOB DUTIES: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on food production equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and minimal downtime. Troubleshoot and repair boilers, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial steam cooking equipment. Ensure compliance with Cal OSHA safety regulations, food safety guidelines, and company policies. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system issues. Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory. Collaborate with production teams to optimize equipment performance and efficiency. Conduct equipment inspections, document findings, and recommend improvements. Assist in equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) principles. Test functionality of facility safety systems. - Fabricate new equipment as necessary SKILLS/QUALIFICATION: 5+ years of maintenance experience in the food manufacturing industry, Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or on a team. Strong understanding of Cal OSHA regulations and safety compliance. Experience with HMI, boilers, PLCs, VFDs, and industrial steam cooking equipment (highly preferred). Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
