Reads and records information from meters and gauges at specified intervals to verify operating conditions. Inspects meters periodically and monitors operations of all stationary equipment such as high-pressure steam equipment, hot water heaters, water chilling equipment, air handling equipment and emergency power generators. Records in logbook all readings of the various gauges, meters and thermometers monitored. Equipment installation and basic understanding of other trades acquired through similar on-the-job training.
