Local painting company needing to hire full-time painters for year round work. 40+ hrs a week and can work most Saturdays if wanted. Paid weekly. Pay is based on knowledge and experience $25 hr for two week trial and can earn up to $35hr. Their main job duties include running diagnostic tests, determining failures, and correcting issues. This can include larger jobs of replacing transmissions and third member assemblies. Our Diesel Technicians collaborate with team members to ensure that the equipment is safe and operates efficiently. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES Perform thorough DOT inspections and repairs on Company vehicles and machines.   Use different hand tools and powered equipment, such as impact wrenches, welding equipment, hoists, jacks, etc. to repair trucks while constantly utilizing safety precautions.  Diagnose malfunctions in defective equipment by inspecting and testing using electronic diagnostic equipment and wiring schematics, and then efficiently making those repairs.  Test drive vehicles to identify problems and to verify that equipment has been repaired properly.  Replace parts, valves, bearings, assemblies, etc. as needed and repair vehicle cooling and heating systems. Utilize knowledge of diesel emissions and diagnostics to accurately repair issues.  Ensure parts conform to factory specifications by inspecting and verifying clearances and dimensions.  Other duties as assigned.  MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or GED certificate Completion of a certificate program or technical training in mechanics and truck repair preferred.
