This hands-on role involves welding, cutting, and assembling custom metal components from draftings and technical drawings. Compensation • Full-time salaried / Part-time hourly options available • Eligible for overtime (full-time or part-time) • Flexible paid time off (full-time only) • Eligible for year-end bonus based upon overall job performance (full-time or part-time) • Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance options (full-time only) • 401(k) savings plan with company matching program available (full-time only) Key Responsibilities: • Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metals (primarily steel) • Cut, drill, and punch metal components to spec • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and draftings • Set up and build welding jigs and fixtures for repeatable fabrication • Operate basic machining tools (saws, drill press, grinders, etc.) • Ensure all welds meet strength and quality standards • Maintain a clean and safe work area • Work closely with the design and production team to meet project deadlines Qualifications: • 3+ years of welding and fabrication experience preferred • Proficient in MIG and TIG welding techniques • Skilled in steel cutting, drilling, and metal finishing • Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and technical draftings • Experience with machining and lathe operations is a strong plus • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship • Ability to work independently and take initiative • Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented Additional Requirements: • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods • Punctual and dependable work ethic
