Under the guidance of senior mechanics and the Fleet Manager, the Junior Mechanic will perform preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and assist with inspections in a fast-paced environment. Fleet Maintenance and Repair: • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil and filter changes, tire replacements, and brake services, for a large fleet. • Assist senior mechanics in diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues. • Conduct minor repairs, such as replacing batteries, lights, and wiper blades, to maintain fleet readiness. 2. Preventative Maintenance Scheduling: • Help track and prioritize maintenance schedules for the fleet to prevent breakdowns. • Ensure vehicles meet mileage and time-based service requirements consistently. 3. Inspection and Compliance: • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify wear and tear or potential issues. • Assist in preparing vehicles for state inspections, emissions tests, and safety audits. 4.
