G & J Site Solutions, Inc. is hiring full-time, seasonal Construction Laborers, Crew Leaders, CDL Drivers, Irrigation Technicians, and Yard Supervisors in Hancock, Michigan. All experience levels are welcome to apply. A position with G & J is ideal for someone that enjoys variety in construction work such as turf restoration, landscaping, guardrail installation and maintenance, supply delivery, and irrigation work on private, state funded, and federally funded projects across Northeastern Wisconsin and Northern Michigan. WHAT WE OFFER. • Entry-level Laborer. $17.00 per hour starting pay based on experience. • Experienced Laborer. $18.00 - $21.00 per hour starting pay based on experience. • Crew Leader. $20.00 - $30.00 per hour starting pay based on experience. • Irrigation System Technician. $20.00 – $25.00 per hour starting pay based on experience. • Yard Supervisor. $17.00 – $23.00 per hour starting pay based on experience. • Class A CDL endorsement. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR. • Michigan Driver’s License and a clean driving record required. • Class A Commercial Driver’s License preferred, but not required. Those with a valid Class A CDL endorsement will be paid a higher pay rate and higher travel reimbursement. Employees that show initiative and the ability to operate vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, we will assist you in obtaining your Class A CDL. • Ability to perform physical work including working in outdoor weather conditions (hot, cold, snowy, windy, rainy, damp, dusty, dirty, etc.), inspecting and loading equipment, lifting objects up to 50 pounds, installing guardrails, and cleaning up job sites. • Ability to travel to job sites and stay overnight, if necessary, due to location of job site. Company provides transportation to/from job sites and provides lodging when overnight stays are necessary. • You are reliable, trustworthy, can meet deadlines, and work well individually and as a team member. • Ability to successfully pass a pre-hire drug and alcohol screening.
