With a deep understanding of the auto market and a focus on transparency, we’re quickly becoming the go-to solution for used car dealers looking to grow their inventory efficiently and competitively. We’re seeking Sales and Business Development Specialists with a background in sales or lead sales to help us expand and retain our dealer network. What You’ll Do As a Sales and Business Development Specialist your main goal will be to drive dealer acquisition and engagement. You'll prospect and close new accounts while ensuring that dealers see immediate value from our lead generation platform. Dealer-Focused Sales & Business Development ● Present, promote, and sell IBuyCars leads directly to used car dealerships. ● Identify and engage key decision-makers at independent and franchise dealerships. ● Leverage your sales background to build credibility and trust with dealer clients. ● Respond in a timely manner to inbound calls and emails, as these will be warm leads and will need to be addressed ASAP. ● Generate outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups to connect with potential dealer partners. ● Cultivate strong, long-term relationships that drive retention and repeat business. Negotiation, Strategy & Growth ● Negotiate pricing and deal structures with dealership owners and GMs. ● Consistently meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics. ● Prospect for multiple dealers within each target territory to maximize your commissions. ● Provide insights and feedback from the field to help shape strategy and product development. Who You Are ● Sales Savvy – You’ve worked in sales and understand buying cycles, pain points, and business goals. ● Relationship Builder – You know how to connect with business owners, buyers, and sales managers. ● Driven to Succeed – You thrive in a fast-paced, commission-based environment. ● Skilled Negotiator – Whether on the phone, via email, or face-to-face, you’re persuasive, professional, and confident. ● Results Oriented – You manage your pipeline strategically and always find ways to hit (or beat) your numbers. ● Hungry – You are willing to grab an inbound phone call or respond to an email, even if not during your normal working hours because you know that every lead is another opportunity to build your book and earn commission. Preferred Experience ● Background in outbound sales, B2B, or account management. ● Ability to manage a full sales cycle: prospecting, presenting, negotiating, and closing. ● Prior experience selling services or leads. ● Experience in used car dealership is a plus, but not a must. ● Familiarity with CRM systems and digital sales tools.
