What You'll Need: • Must be at least 18 years of age. • 6 months+ of work experience in a customer service/or sales experience in a retail environment. • Basic knowledge or experience using computers and mobile phones. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. • Legally authorized to work in the United States. • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred in some areas. • High school diploma/GED. • Must be able to stand for long periods of time on the sales floor. • Must be able to move and/or lift up to 15 pounds. Compensation: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour DOE. The base pay does not factor in an aggressive commission program when goals and objectives are met. Bay Crossings in San Francisco is seeking someone to work part time at our Ferry Building location. We are hiring someone part time to work Saturdays (9:30am - 5:15pm) and some occasional Sundays (9:45am - 4:15pm) Bay Crossings operates as part in-person Clipper Customer Services provider, transit information/sales, and retail store. We are seeking an upbeat, punctual, friendly, reliable, dedicated employee who can handle a high volume of customers and calm the occasional upset one. The position requires extensive customer service to sell merchandise and answer public transportation questions. Having a general understanding of the Bay Area public transit system would be very helpful, but we will teach you what you do not know. Cash handling experience is preferred.
