Organization: Fun Opportunity Abroad Location: Queens Borough Community College, New York City Program Dates: Group 1: July 31 – August 7 Group 2: August 18 – August 21 Class Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Monday–Friday) Compensation: $30/hour Student Groups: Japanese middle school & high school students (approx. 30 per group) 🌟 About the Role: Fun Opportunity Abroad is seeking enthusiastic and experienced ESL instructors to lead interactive English classes for two visiting groups of Japanese students this summer in New York City. The program is hosted at Queens Borough Community College and focuses on practical conversation skills, cultural immersion, and fun classroom activities. Each class is 3 hours long, with a strong emphasis on: Conversational English Student interaction Games and engaging activities Cultural topics related to life with American host families Student English levels vary, so we’re looking for creative teachers who can adapt, inspire, and energize the classroom while keeping things fun and meaningful! 🎯 Ideal Candidate: ESL teaching experience with youth (middle & high school level) Comfortable leading dynamic and interactive lessons Culturally sensitive and enthusiastic about cross-cultural education Available for all scheduled program days 📩 How to Apply: Interested?
