ShareWe at TaskVerse are looking for reliable and responsive freelance drivers (“Taskers”) based in or near Downtown Austin (within ~15 minutes’ drive) to assist with real-time interventions for autonomous vehicles. What You’ll Do: Close doors or clear objects so AVs can resume trips Remain on-site until the issue is resolved or support arrives Requirements: ✅ Reside within 3–4 miles of Downtown Austin ✅ Own a reliable personal vehicle ✅ Valid Texas driver’s license & proof of active insurance ✅ Clean driving record (no violations in the past 2 years) ✅ Pass a background check and drug screening ✅ English proficiency (spoken & written) ✅ Comfortable using smartphone apps for dispatch and navigation ✅ Able to follow procedures precisely and work weekends, early mornings, evenings ✅ Punctual, dependable, quick to respond to requests ✅ Valid work authorization (U.S. citizenship not required) Compensation & Schedule: starting at USD $20/hour on a retainer basis + USD $25 flat fee per completed intervention Paid, self-paced training provided Hybrid pay: retainer for on-call availability + flat fee per completed intervention Flexible, on-call shifts; you’re not actively working unless dispatched Independent Contractor (1099) status, not an employee Freedom to work with other platforms How to Apply: If you’re interested in this flexible opportunity, please fill out the application form given below and submit your updated resume.
