About The Role: As a Brake and Oil Service Technician, you’ll be the face of Pit Stop Brakes, delivering expert brake and oil change services directly to our customers’ homes and offices. You’ll combine technical excellence with strong communication skills to ensure safe, reliable repairs and a positive, stress-free customer experience. What You Will Do Diagnose, repair, and replace brake components (pads, rotors, calipers, lines, etc.) with precision and efficiency. Provide customers with clear explanations of repair needs, costs, and options. Ensure each service is performed safely and in compliance with ASE standards. Drain and replace car oil and oil filter Maintain accurate work orders and customer documentation through our mobile systems. Keep service vehicles, tools, and equipment in excellent condition. Safely operate company and customer vehicles during repairs and testing. Represent Pit Stop Brakes with professionalism and care in every customer interaction. Other duties as assigned. What You’ll Get Competitive pay starting at $28–$35/hour, depending on experience. Paid ASE certification renewals and training. All tools and equipment provided. Consistent schedule: Monday–Saturday (with one weekday off). What You’ll Need: 1+ years of brake repair experience. ASE Brake Certification preferred. Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record. No college degree required.High school diploma or GED. Must be 18 years of age or older. Proven customer-facing experience with strong communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varied outdoor conditions. Skilled in use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability. Professional communication (written and verbal) with customers and teammates. Customer-first mindset, with a commitment to safety and service. Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently. Additional Information This position involves driving duties that may be monitored through the use of GPS and other technologies to ensure safety and compliance.
