Position Overview:
As an HVACR Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems for a variety of applications, including commercial kitchens, grocery stores, and industrial facilities. You will ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably, meeting the high standards of our company and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on refrigeration systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration equipment malfunctions.
Install new refrigeration systems and components, including wiring, piping, and controls.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations.
Maintain accurate service records and provide detailed reports on completed work.
Collaborate with clients to explain system operations, maintenance tips, and potential upgrades.
Respond to emergency service calls on a rotational basis, as required.
Install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair hot-side kitchen equipment such as stoves, ovens, fryers and steamers.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in HVACR is preferred.
Minimum of 1 year experience working with refrigeration systems.
EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) is required.
Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, tools, and safety protocols.
Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
