We are Searching for a Manager to Join Our Data Operations Team! First National Bank Alaska is recruiting a Manager to join our Data Operations team. This position oversees the enterprise and centralized server production operations to ensure timely and accurate updates with minimal system downtime. The ideal candidate will possess: - familiarity with Unisys MCP or similar mainframe platform; - ability to read, analyze and interpret common technical journals and manuals; - experience with scripting or workflow language(e.g., PowerShell, batch, WFL, JCL, etc.); Position responsibilities may include: - Investigates and assists with resolving operational inefficiencies; advises supervisor on improvements to workflow and automation opportunities. - Monitors and updates mainframe, ftp and server jobs as scheduled or requested by bank personnel; writes and maintains section procedures on new hardware and software systems. - Develops, tests, and maintains file download specifications, ensuring daily reports and images are properly stored for easy and accurate retrieval. - Installs updated programs and implements releases supplied by vendors and internal programming staff; assists with testing new deployments in non-production environments.
