Responsibilities: Responsible for the analysis and design for the deployment, support, and security of the organization’s information technology to ensure the organization is efficiently managing its technology and data-related assets in accordance with best market practices and external regulations. The Software Developer will design, develop, implement, and maintain application software in accordance with the needs of the business. Specific duties will include: supporting the Ameritas Enterprise Architecture team systems and processes from an automation and integration perspective; collaborating with other employees in their area to develop and unit test software programs; analyzing problems and providing solutions; Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to headquarters in Lincoln, Nebraska. Education: Master’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or foreign equivalent). Requirements: Six (6) months of experience in the job offered or related position. Other special requirements include: Six (6) months of experience in modern full-stack web development frameworks, with exposure to building scalable solution following modern software development lifecycle processes; six (6) months of experience implementing machine learning or AI use cases, applying natural language processing (NLP) techniques for sentimental analysis; six (6) months of experience assisting in enterprise architecture research and modeling; and six (6) months of experience supporting governance processes and technology road mapping.
