Reporting to the Program Supervisor, this role is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Read and Play Club and Early Learning Everywhere programs for the Alameda team. The CLS will facilitate workshops for families and educators, lead playgroups and Read Aloud demonstrations, and build relationships with early childhood educators and family-serving organizations across Alameda county. The Executive Sous Chef role is a full time salary job as we are open for Lunch and Dinner, Tuesdays-Saturdays. This individual should have experience managing a kitchen and the ability to work all stations. You will be responsible for opening and closing the kitchen, maintaining the equipment and facilities, assisting in production and ordering, managing staff (training, developing, labor cost), as well as collaborating with Chef and Partners and on-site management team on menus, events and promotions.
