CNC Machine Operator - Night Shift (morgan hill)

Kalman Manufacturing of Morgan Hill, California is a Silicon Valley leader in high-precision manufacturing with a diverse customer base, ranging from medical to global positioning systems. We work closely with our customers to design, develop, and process plan products from prototypes through production. Currently, we have multiple positions for CNC Operators on our Night Shift. (4:00pm-2:00am Monday thru Thursday) Our night shift employees enjoy 3 day weekends! Our company is looking for employees who are reliable and easy to work with, have a positive attitude, and have good communication and organizational skills. Our night shift Operators MUST HAVE at least 3-5 years experience operating CNC Machines. This person should be capable of high-precision work, while acting as a team player. Must be able to inspect your own parts. THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY LEVEL CNC POSITION. Skills Required • Should be High School Graduate or GED equivalent. • Must have experience with Vertical or Horizontal Machining Centers to operate in a safe and efficient manner. • Preferably candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of experience. • Must have good communication skills both written and verbal. • Must be able to use standard measuring tools effectively. • Must have adequate math skills. • Must be very detailed oriented with good personal organizational skills. • Must be familiar with tooling, fixturing, indexers etc. • Must be able to complete inspection documentation and determine when parts are out of tolerance. • Should be able to train other operators in the process of manufacturing parts. • Must have good manual dexterity and be able to lift 70lbs. • Should have experience in an ISO 9001 environment, 13485 would be helpful.
