The Maintenance Officer is a full-time contract position responsible for performing a wide variety of skilled maintenance, repair, and construction tasks to support the daily operations of the College’s facilities. Collaborate with outside contractors and vendors as needed for specialized repairs or large-scale projects. Support event setup and breakdown, including moving equipment, staging, and room configuration. Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and College policies at all times. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; trade or technical school training preferred. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in general maintenance, with demonstrated skills in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repair. Knowledge of building codes, occupational safety regulations, and preventative maintenance practices. Ability to read technical instruction manuals. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, operate power tools, and work in various indoor and outdoor conditions. Valid driver’s license required.
