To keep pace with our expanding global trading operations, we are seeking a C++ Market Data Engineer to design and build ultra-low-latency feed handlers for premier vendor feeds and major exchange multicast feeds. This is a high-impact role that sits at the heart of Trexquant's trading platform; the quality, speed, and reliability of your code directly influence every strategy we run. Responsibilities Design & implement high-performance feed handlers in modern C++ for equities, futures, and options across global venues (e.g., NYSE, CME, Refinitiv RTS, Bloomberg B-PIPE). Optimize for micro- and nanosecond latency using lock-free data structures, cache-friendly memory layouts, and kernel-bypass networking where appropriate. Build reusable libraries for message decoding, normalization, and publication to internal buses shared by research, simulation, and live trading systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tune TCP/UDP multicast stacks, kernel parameters, and NIC settings for deterministic performance. Provide robust failover, gap-recovery, and replay mechanisms to guarantee data integrity under packet loss or venue outages. Instrument code paths with precision timestamping and performance metrics; drive continuous latency regression testing and capacity planning. Partner closely with quantitative researchers to understand downstream data requirements and to fine-tune delivery formats for both simulation and live trading. Produce clear architecture documents, operational run-books, and post-mortems; participate in a 24×7 follow-the-sun support rotation for mission-critical market-data services. Requirements BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of professional C++ (14,17,20) development experience focused on low-latency, high-throughput systems. Proven track record building or maintaining real-time market-data feeds (e.g., Refinitiv RTS/TREP, Bloomberg B-PIPE, OPRA, CME MDP, ITCH). Strong grasp of concurrency, lock-free algorithms, memory-model semantics, and compiler optimizations. Familiarity with serialization formats (FAST, SBE, Protocol Buffers) and time-series databases or in-memory caches. Comfort with scripting in Python for prototyping, testing, and ops automation. Excellent problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced trading environment. Familiarity with containerization (Docker/K8s) and public-cloud networking (AWS, GCP). This position focuses on diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing customer-returned products and Core Systems–built servers. Resume Required. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair on returned computer systems, servers, and components. Process RMA units through inspection, testing, and documentation. Repair hardware at the system, component, and board level when required. Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action reports for customer returns. Qualifications Proven hands-on experience repairing computer systems, servers, or related IT hardware. Ability to read schematics and follow technical documentation. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under time-sensitive conditions. Responsibility The ML Infrastructure team at Pony.ai provides a set of tools to support and automate the lifecycle of the AI workflow, including model development, evaluation, optimization, deployment, and monitoring. As a Machine Learning Engineer in ML Runtime & Optimization, you will be developing technologies to accelerate the training and inferences of the AI models in autonomous driving systems. This includes: Identifying key applications for current and future autonomous driving problems and performing in-depth analysis and optimization to ensure the best possible performance on current and next-generation compute architectures. Collaborating closely with diverse groups in Pony.ai including both hardware and software to optimize and craft core parallel algorithms as well as to influence the next-generation compute platform architecture design and software infrastructure. Apply model optimization and efficient deep learning techniques to models and optimized ML operator libraries. Work across the entire ML framework/compiler stack (e.g.Torch, CUDA and TensorRT), and system-efficient deep learning models. Requirements BS/MS or Ph.D in computer science, electrical engineering or a related discipline. Strong programming skills in C/C++ or Python. Experience on model optimization, quantization or other efficient deep learning techniques Good understanding of hardware performance, regarding CPU or GPU execution model, threads, registers, cache, cost/performance trade-off, etc. Experience with profiling, benchmarking and validating performance for complex computing architectures. Experience in optimizing the utilization of compute resources, identifying and resolving compute and data flow bottlenecks. Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally between software and hardware teams Preferred Qualifications: One or more of the following fields are preferred Experience with parallel programming, ideally CUDA, OpenCL or OpenACC. Experience in computer vision, machine learning and deep learning. Strong knowledge of software design, programming techniques and algorithms. Good knowledge of common deep learning frameworks and libraries. Deep knowledge on system performance, GPU optimization or ML compiler. Pay is BOE 48-85 per hour • 30% Network Operations and Security Management: Responsible for the daily operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the branch’s network. Monitor and analyze network performance, respond promptly to and resolve operational issues and incidents. Perform fault diagnosis and resolution for various types of network failures; create and manage support tickets with third-party vendors for any type of network performance degradation or system issue. Conduct regular and ad-hoc health checks to identify and eliminate risks, ensuring the overall health of the network environment. Coordinate with maintenance vendors for hardware repair and replacement. Responsible for network-related disaster recovery activities, including drills, testing, and documentation. • 25% Network Architecture Optimization and Technical Standards Development: Design and optimize network architecture by incorporating industry best practices and aligning with headquarters’ technical standards. Continuously improve the network architecture and evaluate emerging technologies for potential adoption. Revise and refine network management technical standards in accordance with HQ requirements and local business needs. • 20% Network Asset Management: Maintain and update network topology diagrams, as well as asset records for network devices and leased lines. Manage VLANs, IP addresses, DNS, and domain environments. Responsible for network configuration management and firewall port administration. Implement lifecycle management for network devices, including procurement and replacement. Handle equipment installation, placement, cabling, labeling, power supply, stacking, and routine inspections. • 10% Network Version and Patch Management: Responsible for the installation, configuration, patching, and maintenance of network infrastructure supporting the headquarters and branch data centers. Coordinate planned network upgrades with HQ departments and third parties. Perform firmware updates for network and security devices to ensure they remain on the latest versions. • 5% Network Business and Financial Management: Liaise with network vendors and participate in budgeting, procurement, contracting, invoice review, and payment processes for network-related services, ensuring service quality, cost control, and compliance. Requirements • College graduate with specialization in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. • 3 years of satisfactory, progressive experience in network administration in a business environment incorporating switch, router and firewall configuration, network monitoring, and experience utilizing network management tools to that are acceptable to the management of the Information technology Department. Knowledge of network topology, understanding of LANS, VPN, Wi-Fi, etc. is required. • Fluent in English and Chinese. SPECIFICATIONS: • Strong knowledge in network administration, cyber security, IT operation, inventory and patch management, incident response, and etc.; • Must be able to prioritize work and multitask in a fast-paced environment. • Require participation in periodic network devices updates outside of normal business hours and respond to network-related operation issues and incidents in a timely manner. • Communication regarding work matters with the headquarters is allowed outside of regular working hours. • Have strong written and oral communication skills in English and oral communication in Mandarin.
