Come join us in one of the nicest places to live in the Presidio. It is former senior officer housing with expansive views across the bay, and a forest out back. We're a group of five, average age in our 40s and we've created a nice community home. We have a furnished room with ensuite bathroom available for November & December. The room is fairly small (7'x9') with ensuite bathroom and looks out onto a eucalyptus forest. The rest of our home is spacious. We have a large living room, a dining room for entertaining, and a well equipped kitchen with a gas range and oven. A backyard and BBQ make it easy to entertain outdoors too. We're located in the Simonds Loop neighborhood near the Lombard Gate entrance to the Presidio. It's a safe friendly neighborhood with low crime where kids play in the street. We're close to the Marina and Pacific Heights and an easy walk to Crissy Field and the Golden Gate Bridge. There's good transit connections including a free express bus that takes you straight downtown. Other highlights: * Easy parking in the driveway and street * High-speed wireless in-house network * Apple TV/Netflix/etc * Washer and dryer. * A yard (front and back) - good for BBQs * Bi-weekly cleaning service * Storage for bikes, surfboards! * A small workshop in our garage... We know you'll like the house. More important is how you like us. You'll have five housemates and a doodle to keep you company. We have a stable, relaxed, social group without drama. We often cook and hang out together, but everyone has their own lives too. Some of us work from home, but the house rarely feels busy.
