We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Air Conditioning Technician to install, maintain and repair air conditioning systems. Responsibilities: *Install, maintain and repair air conditioning systems and equipment for residential and/or commercial units *Identify maintenance risks on equipment *Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions *Perform regular maintenance work on cooling units *Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards *Use specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to test and repair equipment *Ensure proper installation, calibration and set-up of equipment *Provide excellent customer service and explain any repairs needed *Ensure jobs are completed in a timely manner to high quality standards Qualifications: MUST HAVE Proven experience as an AC technician (not looking for a person to train) Excellent understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills Ability to work in confined spaces and open-air environments Valid driver’s license
