As a full-time Park Custodian, you’ll travel between park sites, clean and restock restrooms and facilities, tackle light maintenance and graffiti cleanup, and help ensure buildings and public spaces look their best. The role is active and hands-on, working outdoors in all seasons, and using custodial tools and floor care equipment. Required Education and Experience: *Must be 18 years of age or older. *Graduation from high school or GED equivalent; and *Six (6) months or more experience as a custodian with an industrial, janitorial firm, or commercial business and thorough knowledge of custodial materials and methods. Available Schedule: *8 hours daily, Thursday - Monday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM Compensation & Information on Benefits: This position is part of the AFSCME employee group. The anticipated hiring range for the Park Custodian position is $20.70 (first step) to $21.74 or $22.82 (second or third step). The City of Medford determines starting pay based on an evaluation of relevant education, experience, and qualifications as provided by the applicant in their application materials, alongside others who perform work of comparable character consistent with the Oregon Equal Pay Act. Six steps are included in this salary range, allowing opportunity for annual movement through the steps.
