




Roadmaster is looking for a detail-oriented person with a penchant for writing to join our team. This role is ideal for someone interested in combining writing, visual documentation, and hands-on learning in the RV industry. You’ll assist with creating installation instructions, capturing product photography, and supporting marketing content. This position will work as part of our marketing team under the direction of our VP. Responsibilities: Technical Documentation - Assist in drafting, editing, and formatting installation instructions and technical bulletins. - Work with our engineering and service teams to document processes step-by-step. - Ensure documents are accurate and easy for retail customers to understand while being consistent with our company style. Photography & Visual Media - Capture quality photos during product installations for use within instructions and website. - Edit and prepare photos for use in technical manuals, social media, and marketing materials. - Work alongside staff to visually document both staged and real-world installs. Marketing Support - Support marketing as needed when time allows. - Assist with creating product highlights, lifestyle imagery, and b-roll content. - Contribute to projects that promote Roadmaster products and support content collaborations. Qualifications - Strong writing skills with attention to detail and clarity. Job one is to write instructions that the average consumer can follow. - Basic photography skills although this can be learned on the job. - Interest in technical documentation, mechanical systems, or automotive/RV industries. Those with mechanical skills or experience may understand the product more readily, but it is not a pre-requisite. - Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams. - Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, or Lightroom) is helpful but not required. - Adobe InDesign is our primary software for document creation. We are willing to teach basics, but prior knowledge is a plus. - Eagerness to learn and take direction in a fast-paced small business environment. - Willingness to get "hands on" or "dirty" during while documenting installation steps. Job Location: Roadmaster, Inc. located in Vancouver, WA (Onsite, Non-Remote) Job Type: Full or Part time. We have some flexibility. Depending on qualifications and preference of the candidate this job could be either a part or full time job. Work Times: Work would be within M-F, 7:30 - 4:00 - No overnights, No evenings, No weekends! Pay: Entry level to $22 per hour depending on experience. - Sorry, not a remote position! - Onsite work required, for photography and documentation alongside the R&D team.
