Pappardella is a popular and busy UWS Italian restaurant, serving classic Italian fare including pizza, pasta, fish and grilled meats. We are seeking a skilled, motivated Pizza cook. Besides the pizza station, you will assist the sauté /grill cook also. Our pizza oven is a double gas with brick stone. Schedule is 3pm-11pm, 5 days Responsibilities: - prepping the station before dinner - working dinner service in good team work with your colleagues - prepping for the start of lunch the following day - cleaning your station at the end of shift - communicating with chef about daily special - collaborating on needs for evening shift Qualifications: - At least two years of experience in an Italian cooking position - Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, and peers; use of professional language. - knowledge of food handling practices - Food Protection Certificate desired We look forward to meeting you.
