Make up to $35 per hour. CASHIER POSITION NEEDED FULL/PART TIME. DAY SHIFT POSITION. We have an immediate positions to fill. We are looking for a cashier to operate a pos system that is pretty basic, hand out orders, and other cashier duties. This is a fast paced restaurant but also a good, fun atmosphere, at least that is what we strive for. We are a local family owned fast food restaurant that has over 30 years of tradition at this location. We are willing and do not have a problem paying our employees a good wage. We are only open Monday thru Saturday during the day. Therefore we only can offer day time hours at this point. shifts are flexible but are generally 9:30 am to 4:30pm M-F and 10am-3:30pm on Saturday. We are located at 1760 NE Lombard Ct, Portland, OR 97211. For a general area, we on 17th and NE Columbia Blvd about 5 minutes from Portland International Raceway and Delta Park. Our restaurant is called Roake's. We expect our employees to be friendly with people, clean, honest, in good health so you can perform the daily tasks, well groomed and on time and NOT under the influence of drugs or alcohol. I repeat, and on time. That is an estimated average and depends on how many employees are working the shift. Tips are shared equally. No tips will be paid during the 2 week trial period. Pay raises are based on productivity and can happen often based on your performance. We hire on a 2 week trial basis to see if it is a good fit for us all and to see if a new employee has good potential. It is our goal to keep the people we hire. We serve burgers, hotdogs, fries, shakes, etc. This is a busy fast food restaurant. You are welcome to stop by the restaurant and fill out an application.
