Fire Extinguisher / Hood System Suppression Technician We are looking to add to our Hood Suppression and Fire Extinguisher team. We provide fire and safety equipment service to commercial businesses in the Puget Sound Region. Responsibilities will include servicing and repair of existing Restaurant Hood Systems and Fire Extinguisher maintenance and certification per requirements. We highly desire you have certifications from hood system training centers or manufacturers certifications. We have most certs and are willing to invest in someone who wants a long term career. Please do not apply if you have no experience in this field of work. Full-time M-F with occasional hours on weekdays and sometimes will require early morning starts. Out-of-town travel is possible on certain occasions. Experience performing special hazard suppression system inspection and repair a plus but not required (FM200 and Halon). Functional knowledge to test and service the following fire alarm brands: Silent Knight / Honeywell, Simplex, Notifier and Fire-Lite. Ability to be available on-call when scheduled. Must be comfortable working on ladders 6 to 12ft and on lifts. Ability to lift up to 70lbs, to work overhead and in unusual or small spaces such as attics and crawl spaces. Skills to communicate well with customers and explain the work being done and any repairs that are necessary. Skills to write well and be very detailed in your write up on service work. Must be well organized and be able to keep track of service tickets and process all required documents for each service performed.
