PAINTER (LARGO)

Duties: The job consists of, includes, but is not limited to: a) Cleaning, prepping, patching, sanding, taping, spraying, rolling, brushing and finishing retorts and other equipment as needed. b) B&L Cremation Systems will provide appropriate respiratory protection equipment, “fit testing”, fitness for duty (medical evaluation) and training with “work-site specific procedures” where respirators are necessary for spray painting. c) Able to life 50 lbs. on a routine basis, climb ladders and bend frequently. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: a) Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis, climb ladders and bend frequently. b) Sit, stand, continuously bend, reach, walk and carry. Work and Environmental Conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job with particular attention to safety. a) Environmental conditions are similar to those of a typical production or manufacturing facility and packinghouse where temperatures vary seasonally resulting in warm and cold working temperatures. b) Safety equipment is assigned and must be worn as required.
