As a field technician, you will be responsible for the installation, calibration and service of a customer's industrial weighing equipment. Technicians will be working on both mechanical and electronic scales in diverse settings. The ideal service technician is self-motivated, hands-on, and has excellent problem-solving skills. On-the-job training and factory training will be provided. No experience is required. A successful Field Service Technician will have knowledge in many fields including mechanical, electrical, computer technology, and the ability to relate to our customer's needs. Sweetwood Custom Cabinets is looking for an experienced CNC operator and cabinet maker to work in our custom cabinet shop. This job involves mostly being able to operate a CNC router, but having knowledge of other industry standard equipment such as Edgebanders, slider saws, sanders, nail guns, clamps, drills and alike is also helpful. Applicants will need to have knowledge of how cabinetry is built as well as knowledge of materials used in cabinet manufacturing. SCOPE: The Renovation Specialist is responsible for completing all construction and renovation on inventory homes in a portfolio of communities. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, inventory home management, portfolio management and project management to ensure community inventory is ready for sale in good physical condition with a stabilized fiscal operation. Use of technology to communicate and report objectives and progress. To adhere to all applicable fair housing laws governing real estate sales, leasing and management maintenance service. Identify all repairs needed and create a scope of work within estimated costs for all repairs. - Communicate inspection requests, analyze quotes and scopes for accuracy and submit for approval. Follow up with vendors or team for scheduling and completion of work. - Identify areas of inventory needs and completion of renovation of inventory home - Physically examine the inventory and renovation work of the properties on a regular basis - Research building materials and aim to find the best quality and price - Compile weekly inventory reports, tasking, purchase card reconciliations timely and as dictated - Use technology (i.e., mobile phone, tablet, laptop or PC) to create, track, and report progress on all work orders, timesheets, and performance.
