Job Title: Field Diesel Mechanic Location: Doral, FL Job Type: Full-Time Pay: $30 – $40 per hour (based on experience) About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Field Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Doral. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulics. This position requires traveling to job sites to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on heavy equipment and diesel-powered machinery. Responsibilities: Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems. Perform preventative maintenance and inspections. Troubleshoot equipment failures in the field and complete timely repairs. Maintain accurate service records and reports. Ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently. Qualifications: Experience: 3–5 years as a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment technician (field service experience preferred). Knowledge: Strong understanding of hydraulics, diesel engines, and electrical systems. Required Certifications: - ASE Certification in Diesel Engines or Medium/Heavy Truck Technician. - CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) Class A or B. Must have own tools and reliable transportation. Key responsibilities: • Install and replace septic tank covers and drainage systems. • Perform clearing and unclogging of main and secondary pipes. • Conduct camera inspections to locate pipe damage, roots, or blockages. • Diagnose and repair leaks, seepage, and water pressure issues. • Operate specialized tools and equipment such as pressure machines, inspection cameras, and pumping equipment. • Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations. • Provide professional customer service and guidance on septic system and plumbing maintenance. Requirements: • Minimum 3 years of plumbing experience (preferably with experience in septic systems and drains). • Knowledge of drain cleaning machines, hydrojet, and inspection cameras. • Ability to work independently and solve problems on-site. • Valid driver's license (required). • Availability for emergencies and after-hours work.
