Job Description  You in The Role and on The Team: You are a talented Software Engineer who is passionate about problem-solving, innovation, and building cutting-edge products. In this role, you will apply your strong Java expertise to design, develop, and optimize software solutions that power our next-generation robotic systems. You will work closely with colleagues across multiple teams and locations, contributing high-quality code to a modern and adaptable software stack.  A Day in the Life  Design and implement robust, scalable APIs to support our next-generation Robot Control System.  Analyze and resolve complex software challenges with practical, efficient, and sustainable solutions.  Provide Tier 2 support to customers as needed, ensuring their ongoing success.  Collaborate with global colleagues to drive project outcomes (including occasional evening meetings).  Design, evaluate, and implement software solutions that enhance robotic system performance.  Work with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate hardware and software components.  Contribute strategic insights on emerging robotics and automation technologies and industry best practices.  Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (e.g., Physical Science, Mathematics).  3–5 years of professional Java development experience.  Proficiency with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.  Hands-on experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.  Strong background in algorithm design and implementation.  Experience with system architecture and overall software design.  Familiarity with Docker for containerization.  Experience with remote deployment, configuration, and monitoring.  Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.  Willingness to participate in evening calls with international colleagues.    Bonus Skills  Experience with Python, C++, C#, or C.  Exposure to machine learning techniques.  Familiarity with Arduino and PLC programming.  Benefits We value our team members and offer meaningful benefits: Employer-subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance plans to support your health and wellbeing Dedicated vacation and sick leave that allows you to recharge and take care of yourself when needed Invaluable hands-on experience with cutting-edge robotics technology that keeps your skills at the industry forefront A collaborative culture where innovation thrives and your work has a real impact The excitement of contributing to transformative technology in a fast-growing industry Prime Robotics is proud to be an EEOE, M/F/D/V, and we are committed to diversity both in practice and spirit at the corporate level.  Prime Robotics participates in E-Verify.
