POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: The Bellman / Valet greets arriving guests at the hotel's front door and assists with hotel check-ins and check-outs as well as dining valet for our two restaurants, Grill 225 and Pavilion Bar. Bellman / Valet assist guests with exiting their vehicles by and will assist guests with luggage handling at the time of arrival and at the check-in process. Bellman / Valet will be responsible for escorting hotel guests into the property upon arrival and assisting with the check-in process at the guest services check-in desk. Bellman / Valet is responsible for luggage delivery to the guest's room, and with orienting the guests with the features and functions of their guest room. Bellman / Valet will be responsible for attending to the needs of hotel guests throughout the duration of their stay upon request. Bellman / Valet assists guests with the check-out process by handling the guest's luggage upon request, then loading their vehicle for departure. Bellman / Valet is responsible for ensuring that the guest's departure is smooth, warm and hospitable. Bellman / Valet will be required to perform all functions of their job to a high luxury standard. Additional earnings are based on gratuities provide by the guests at their discretion. Gratuities are based solely on the discretion of the guest. Gratuities provided by guests are a significant portion of a bellman's earnings. While not guaranteed, on average our hotel bellman / valet staff members who have the ability to make hospitable connections with their guests can be expected to make an hourly up to - $50.00+ per hour during high business demands.
