Early Childhood Education Coach

We are an after school programs in the Northern Virginia, DC, Maryland area looking for instructors, teachers, and coaches to teach classes in our fall programs in schools throughout the area. Specifically, we are looking for instructors to teach at a year long program in Bethesda, Maryland(8617 Chateau Dr, Potomac, MD 20854) The classes run from 1:40 PM -3:10PM. The program starts in late August and runs through the end of June. It is pays between $60-$80 per class. The instructors we are most looking to hire are: -Robotics/Computer Science -Lego Building -Art/Arts and Crafts/Painting -Hip Hop -Cartooning -Chess -Coding -Performing Puppets -Zumba -Fiber Arts -Secret Agent Lab -Science -Fun with circuits -Adventures for boys and girls Requirements We are looking for instructors who have experience working with elementary aged kids, are responsible and flexible, have reliable access to a car (as many of of programs are not located near bus/metro stops), and are punctual and dependable. One of the most important things is not only teaching a fun enriching class, but also following all protocols that exist from school to school. Instructors should be working on a degree or have a degree.

Seeking Babysitter(s) for Two Kids Duration: Whenever You’re free in 2-4 hour blocks Location: At our House - Paiko Peninsula Area Ages of Girls: 6 years old and 4 years old Hourly Rate: $20-25/hour We are looking for multiple part time babysitters to play with our girls. Our girls are in the process of learning English, so we hope to expose them to as many people as possible. We home school them, so we are constantly searching for fun babysitters who would help take care of them during the day or early evenings. This should be a fun and open-ended opportunity. We are looking for students or teachers who love kids and want to play games, read books, sing, draw, dance, converse, or just be active. We have a large backyard where the kids can run around and play outdoor activities. Our kids are also open to reading books and singing a variety of songs in different languages. If you want to teach the girls something, even better! Our goal is just to have fun and have them practice their English. We will open our house to the babysitter. At least one adult will be present in the house at any one point in time. Island School is seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to join our Facilities Department as a Maintenance Staff Member. This position reports directly to the Director of Campus Operations and plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized campus environment. Salary: $22-26 per hour depending on experience. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine custodial and janitorial duties, including general cleaning and sanitation in the Main Hall and other areas as assigned. Assist with basic maintenance tasks as needed across campus facilities. Support landscaping and groundskeeping efforts to maintain the campus exterior. Provide additional support for school events and campus operations as assigned. Be professional at all times when dealing with the public, students, families, faculty and staff. Manage recycling across campus as assigned. Qualifications: Experience in custodial, janitorial, or commercial cleaning services. Background in landscaping or facilities maintenance preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines. Able to bend, stoop, lift a minimum of 50 pounds, turn, crouch, reach, sweep, mop and use tools required to complete tasks as assigned. High School diploma or equivalent preferred; CDL preferred for back-up bus driving as needed.
