Description

We are a mid-size multi-discipline architectural and engineering firm with offices in Roseville and San Francisco. We are currently looking for a Project Coordinator / BIM Technician with interest in working in multiple disciplines or specializing in one or two: Architectural, Structural, MEP, As-Builts. You are the ideal candidate if you enjoy working with a small, collaborative design team. Candidates must be self-starters and highly motivated individuals who want to share their talent and experience. We are a fast-paced team collaborating in a very fluid environment. This position has part-time remote potential. Education: • Architectural / Engineering Degree Preferred Qualifications: • 3-5 years of experience preferred • Must be familiar with the latest edition of the California Building Code • Must be proficient in REVIT • Must have a solid understanding of AutoCAD • Experience with Microsoft Office preferred • Experience with Bluebeam or Acrobat preferred • Strong communication skills • Ability to problem solve and demonstrate critical thinking skills • Must be able to work with minimal supervision Responsibilities: • Architectural and/or MEP modeling + project coordination • Creation of Design Development and Construction Documents • Creation of As-built models from point cloud files • Coordination with in-house architects and engineers and external sub-consultants • Conduct drawing reviews as appropriate for completeness and accuracy • Organize and maintain project drawings, files, and related information • Ability to efficiently manage assignments/tasks in a timely manor Compensation: • Contract or part-time to start • Competitive pay based on abilities, potentially $70K / year starting - based on experience and agreed hourly rate • May lead to full time position with quarterly bonuses available • Paid holidays, vacation, and sick days • Health and Dental Insurance • We offer AXP program fulfillment

Makes simple decisions but refers most questions / problems to lead designers. Solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with design and fire sprinkler terminology.
