Description

We are seeking skilled and motivated Journey Level Mechanical Insulators. Work will take place in and around the Anchorage, Kenai, Alaska area on a variety of commercial and industrial projects. Responsibilities Install Insulation: Apply insulation materials to pipes, ducts, tanks, boilers, and other mechanical systems according to specifications and safety standards. Read Blueprints & Specs: Interpret construction documents and follow job specific requirements. Work Safely: Follow all OSHA and site safety rules, including proper use of PPE. Material Handling: Safely lift, move, and stage insulation materials (up to 50 lbs). Adapt to Conditions: Perform work in hot and cold environments, both indoors and outdoors. Access Work Areas: Climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and maneuver in elevated or restricted areas. Qualifications Minimum 4 years experience as a journey-level mechanical insulator. Reliable transportation/vehicle to job sites. Must be able to travel Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work. Comfortable working in varied environments (confined spaces, heights, extreme weather). Knowledge of insulation types, installation methods, and mechanical systems. Strong attention to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Electrical Maintenance Technician
Job Description This position carries out those activities required to maintain and correct damage and make repairs to physical buildings, structures, and facilities as well maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, and cleaning equipment of assigned facilities. Additionally, this person will do a variety of work involving equipment use such as scissor lifts and necessitate regularly working from ladders. Responsibilities Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes. Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system. Plans layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes. Current electrician's certificate of fitness is preferred. Regular day shift, M-F but position may involve on call, night, weekend work or emergency call outs on an as needed basis. This position may require approximately 50% travel out of Anchorage area to other Alaska locations. Some overnight travel is required. State of Alaska electricians’ license/certificate of fitness is preferred. Valid Alaska Driver’s License with three (3) years acceptable driving record to be eligible under company vehicle insurance policy. Applicants must have the ability to obtain a security clearance.
