Seeking an Experienced HVAC Technician! MUST HAVE Requirements & Qualifications/Certifications: + EPA Universal Certification + 5-10 Years of HVAC Tech experience (Preferably commercial, but a mix between both is ok) + MUST be comfortable working independently 90% of the time (this is not a position that will train entry level HVAC techs) + MUST have a valid driver's license & clean DMV record (1-2 points on driving record may be approved, NO DUI's, NO reckless driving charges) Job Description: + Pay rate is between $28-$65 per hour (Depending on experience) - The shift is Monday through Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm (some OT required depending on jobs) + You will be provided a company van, a gas card + Travel in a company provided vehicle to client locations to complete work orders (troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and replace defective parts/units) + This is a hybrid position (HVAC Building Maintenance). + Must be comfortable using an iPad for work orders: We know that a company's success starts with its employees. Core Responsibilities:. Diagnose vehicle issues accurately using diagnostic tools and test drives. Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems. Conduct routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, fluid checks, etc.). Perform safety inspections and ensure vehicles meet Autos of Chicago quality standards. Recondition pre-owned inventory to retail-ready condition. Shop & Equipment Maintenance Keep work area clean, organized, and safe at all times. Properly use and maintain dealership tools and diagnostic equipment. Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment immediately. Teamwork & Development Work closely with service advisors, parts department, and other technicians. Assist with training junior technicians or apprentices as needed. Stay current with ongoing training, certifications, and updated repair techniques.
