Seeking an Experienced HVAC Technician! MUST HAVE Requirements & Qualifications/Certifications: + EPA Universal Certification + 5-10 Years of HVAC Tech experience (Preferably commercial, but a mix between both is ok) + MUST be comfortable working independently 90% of the time (this is not a position that will train entry level HVAC techs) + MUST have a valid driver's license & clean DMV record (1-2 points on driving record may be approved, NO DUI's, NO reckless driving charges) Job Description: + Pay rate is between $28-$65 per hour (Depending on experience) - The shift is Monday through Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm (some OT required depending on jobs) + You will be provided a company van, a gas card + Travel in a company provided vehicle to client locations to complete work orders (troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and replace defective parts/units) + This is a hybrid position (HVAC Building Maintenance). + Must be comfortable using an iPad for work orders: We know that a company's success starts with its employees. Position Auto Body Technician Location Greater Sacramento Area Job Summary Kniesel's Collision, Inc. seeks an experienced journeyman Auto Body Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality collision repairs on various vehicles, restoring them to pre-accident condition per OEM standards and company guidelines. Core Responsibilities Complete disassembly and vehicle assessment to assist account managers in determining damage and preparing an accurate repair plan. Effectively communicate with Account Managers and Parts Associates to obtain necessary parts. Plan work procedures and follow work orders for all listed operations. Closely follow Kniesel’s QC SOP to ensure the highest standard of quality. Ensure all needed repairs are identified to eliminate supplements and minimize repair time. Remove necessary parts, equipment, and materials to gain access for vehicle repair. Store parts properly to prevent further damage and loss. Repair or replace defective parts. File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power and hand tools. Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Comply with Kniesel’s Collision Core Values, guidelines, and standards. Follow federal, state, and local regulations that affect the collision center’s operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA guidelines. Perform other related duties as assigned, including cleaning the shop, assisting teammates, and mentoring body tech apprentices. Skills and Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a journeyman body technician in a collision repair environment. Proficiency in using industry-standard tools and equipment, including welders, frame machines, and hand tools. Strong knowledge of repair techniques, bodywork, and alignment methods. I-CAR certification is a plus. Ability to read and follow repair plans, damage reports, and manufacturer specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality repairs. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Physical ability to stand, bend, and work in various positions for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
