Summary of Position The Electrician is responsible for electrical work at St. Joseph Indian School and other properties owned by the same. This is a non-exempt position. Accountability Reports to the Lead Electrician. Responsibilities 1. Repairs, maintains, and installs electrical wiring, equipment, and systems including but limited to switches, outlets, wiring, motors and alarms. 2. Uses diagnostic, test equipment to troubleshoot and identify electrical malfunctions. 3. Replaces, services, bypasses, electrical systems and electrical components. 4. Tests equipment for safety and function using standard test equipment. 5. Installs new equipment, wiring, and circuits following all code and safety requirements. 6. Familiarity with or ability to learn Johnson Controls systems and Metasys. 7. Assists in the maintenance of geo-thermal plant and air conditioning systems. 8. Complies with all safety and health requirements established by local, state and federal laws. 9. Repairs, installs, and trouble shoots all low voltage and communication systems as required. 10. Performs other responsibilities as required by the Lead Electrician. Qualifications • High School Diploma • Trade school or two years electrical experience required • Licensing by the State of South Dakota desired • Valid driver’s license Physical Demands • Uses both hands and wrists repetitively for prolonged periods. • Driving is required. • Ability to repeatedly lift 30#, stand, sit, and work in various positions for extended periods. Expectations of Hours Worked This a full time position with expected 40 hours weekly. Some overtime or after normal hours work possible.

Church Administrator Duties and Responsibilities • Welcome. Manage occasional inquiries from organizations that request to use space at SCC. • Coordinate facilities issues. Develop familiarity with church utilities, security and communication systems. Walk through all floors and spaces of church building 1x/week. • Arrange annual system inspections i.e., fire systems, elevator system. Working Relationships • Reporting and supervision.
