Implement TypeScript best practices for strongly typed applications. Architect efficient and optimized state management using Redux, Zustand, or Context API. Improve application performance with techniques such as code splitting, lazy loading, memoization, and virtualized lists. Ensure responsive and accessible UI using modern CSS methodologies (CSS-in-JS, Tailwind, Styled Components). 2. Test Automation & Quality Assurance Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using Playwright and Cypress. Ensure comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end testing coverage. As part of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying API solutions that enhance our platform’s functionality and performance. Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable API solutions using KONG Gateway. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand integration requirements. Develop custom plugins and middleware to extend KONG Gateway functionalities. Optimize API performance and security through monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting. Implement API management best practices including versioning, documentation, and access control. Integrate APIs with various backend systems and databases. Ensure high availability and reliability of APIs by implementing robust failover and redundancy strategies. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in API management and integration. Requirements: Proven experience in designing and developing APIs using KONG Gateway. Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Node.js, or Java. Freedom Marine Sales & Service is a full service shop for Freedom Boat Club Seattle and the greater puget sound. We maintain and service over 170 boats a year with our main facility on South Tacoma way, Tacoma Wa. We only work on boats we own and they are all outboard engines. The position of a level 2-3 technician will mean you are part of a team who are motivated and driven to service all aspects of our vessels. Within this position you will be required to carry out a wide variety of tasks pertaining to outboard engines mechanical/electrical fixes. Other skills such as gelcoat, detailing and fabrication are an advantage but can also be taught in house. This position would suit someone who enjoys being on/in and around boats. An employment history of outboard engine work is needed here. You would be working mostly on Mercury/Yamaha 150/200 with some 250 work also. All of our engines are 3yrs old or less so no banger engine work in this shop. Other skills that would be an advantage inc Forklift, truck/trailer towing, welding, detailing, pressure washing and automotive maintenance etc Successful applicants must have a clean driver license, a US boaters card, be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted, be punctual/reliable and have own transport to Tacoma everyday, you MUST be 20yrs of age or older to apply for this role.
