We currently have a Lead/Diagnostic Tech./Assistant Manager/Service Writer position open, minimum 3 years shop experience, strong diagnostic knowledge, diesel experience is a + , strong leadership and customer relation skills. The successful applicant will earn our customer's trust in the shop, then move to the office because our Manager must be a Subject Matter Expert. We offer Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, paid holidays, paid vacation and personal days. We are open Monday thru Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, no weekends. We pay straight time 40 hours a week, Manager will be salary + and no short weeks, We have been in this location for 31+ years and have a large very loyal customer base. JOB SUMMARY: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing excellent resident service through daily maintenance projects as assigned by the direct supervisor. Punctuality, professionalism, and strong customer-service skills are also needed to support the initiatives of this position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Maintain supplies, tools and equipment inventory, maintenance and service records, and building specification manuals and blueprints. 8. Perform other duties as assigned. Customer Service/Safety: 1. Respond to all resident maintenance requests in a timely and courteous manner 2. Adhere to safety protocols when completing maintenance tickets to ensure the safety of yourself and residents. 3. Provides timely communication maintenance concerns or trouble tickets with Property Manager Minimum Experience/Training Education: • High School diploma or GED • Valid driver’s license • Must have a reliable vehicle for travel between assigned locations • Two to five years of maintenance experience preferred ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • General maintenance engineer experience. • Reliable Vehicle. • Dependable, on-time, and good time management skills. • Legal to work in the United States. SCHEDULE: This is a full-time position. The schedule will require 40 hours per week, including rotating on-call shifts. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Occasionally requires lifting 50 pounds or less.
