Charles Hamlet Apartments is a 124-unit residential community focused on creating a safe, well-maintained, and comfortable living environment for our residents. We are currently seeking hard-working and reliable Maintenance Workers / Laborers to join our property management team. Responsibilities: • Assist with general maintenance and repair tasks throughout the apartment community • Perform basic carpentry, painting, and repair work as assigned • Read and follow measurements using a tape measure accurately • Carry out groundskeeping tasks, such as trash pickup and seasonal upkeep • Work independently and with the maintenance team to complete projects on time • Report issues and follow instructions from the Head of Maintenance or Property Manager Requirements: • Previous maintenance, construction, or laborer experience preferred (not required) • Must know how to read a tape measure • Must provide own basic hand tools (wrenches, pliers, screwdriver set, hammer, tape measure, drill gun, saw saw, battery impact wrench, etc. At this level, you should have a decent size set of tools for the job. We can provide a better idea on this if needed. We can provide some of the bigger, less used tools like large saws etc. • Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor as needed • Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation a plus Schedule & Pay: • Full-time or part-time available, depending on workload • Pay: $20 to start. Will do review after 90 days for more pay. • Bi-Weekly Pay Only - Will Receive Cash Pay Only for First 90 Days. Taxes are then taken out if you are a fit for our company after the 90 day probation period. Do not expect to get paid at the end of your first week. It also depends on the day you start in our pay period as to the weeks or hours you do get paid on your first check. You are paid on a bi-weekly basis every two week after your first check.
