Legion Solutions is seeking an entry-level laborer / runner to be based out of our Martinez, CA office to complement our Corrosion Engineering and Integrity Management Team. Working experience in cathodic protection, coating inspection, pipeline inspection, mechanic, etc. is a plus but not required – compensation will be considered based on experience. Job Description and Duties • Drive to and from job sites to pick up/deliver materials with a pick-up truck and a trailer, as needed • Forklift operation experience preferred • Maintain equipment and work vehicles when not in service • Assess issues and problems in the field and respond accordingly under the direction of senior engineers and/or supervisor • Maintain client relationships with the goal of meeting customer expectations • Assist team members in testing and assessing cathodic protection systems • Gather field data including but not limited to structure-to-soil potentials, soil resistivity, continuity, rectifier output, anode output, etc. • Operate equipment such as rectifiers, insulation flange tester, pipe locator, portable current source, field computer, etc. • Tabulate and organize field data • Assist Office Manager and other team members processing data on a computer using MS-Word and Excel. • Work in compliance with technical, safety and compliance procedures and guidelines Minimum Qualifications • High-school diploma or greater • Must be able to prioritize tasks efficiently and effectively under time constraints. • Ability to tailor communications to everyone from the Janitor to managers/supervisors. • Exhibit great attention to details. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel. • Willingness to develop skills and certifications through applicable industry organizations, such as NACE International. • Must be able to qualify for and maintain Operator Qualification (OQ) standards. Working Environment / Physical Demands • Travel will be a requirement. • Ability to drive off-road or a willingness to learn. • Some work will be in the field and remote wilderness locations. • You may be frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, reach, climb and bend. • This position requires the ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. • Must be able to pass a "Fit for Duty" physical and drug screening. Licenses/Certificates Valid Driver’s license (required) and eligible to be added to our current auto Insurance policy.

Position Overview: The Construction Crew Member will assist in the execution of construction projects under the supervision of the Foreman and other project leaders. This role involves performing a variety of tasks on construction sites, including manual labor, operating tools and equipment, and ensuring the site is clean and safe. The Construction Crew Member will work collaboratively with the team to complete projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. General Labor: o Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials and equipment. o Assist in the assembly and disassembly of temporary structures, scaffolding, and other site installations. o Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment. 2. Site Preparation and Cleanup: o Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up barriers, and ensuring the area is safe for work. o Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing waste, unused materials, and hazardous items. o Follow proper waste disposal procedures to comply with environmental and safety regulations. 3. Tool and Equipment Operation: o Operate hand tools, power tools, and light machinery under the guidance of the Foreman or experienced crew members. o Assist in the setup and operation of heavy machinery as needed. o Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition. 4. Material Handling: o Transport materials to and from the jobsite as directed. o Assist in the accurate measurement, cutting, and preparation of materials for construction tasks. o Ensure materials are stored properly to prevent damage or loss. 5. Safety and Compliance: o Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. o Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. o Report any safety hazards, incidents, or near-misses to the Foreman immediately. 6. Team Collaboration: o Work cooperatively with other crew members, Foremen, and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently. o Follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations. o Assist other crew members as needed to meet project deadlines. 7. Quality Assurance: o Perform tasks with attention to detail to ensure work meets quality standards and project specifications. o Report any issues or defects in materials or workmanship to the Foreman. Qualifications: • Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required. • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions. • Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment. • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and follow instructions. • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. • Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols. Work Schedule: • Standard Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (40 hours per week). • Overtime: May be required based on project needs and must be preapproved by the Foreman or supervisor.
