Your responsibilities will include: Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements.  Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements  Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features  Debug existing software and correct defects  Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments  Develop simple to complex data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories  Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards  Works individually or as part of a team.  Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.  Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.  Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required + Fourteen (14) years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity  Four (4) years of relevant SWE experience may be substituted for the degree  Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Site Lead (residential superintendent / lead carpenter) to oversee daily operations on high-end residential remodels and additions. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for managing subcontractors, carpentry crews, and vendors while ensuring quality, schedule, and safety on-site. The position emphasizes reviewing site conditions, architectural drawings, and project details, rather than performing day-to-day carpentry. Candidates must live and work in the East Bay for reliable, daily access to job sites. Key Responsibilities -Manage day-to-day site operations, staff, subcontractors, and deliveries. -Maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring efficiency and quality. -Review and implement architectural drawings, details, and specifications. -Enforce safety procedures and ensure building code compliance. -Communicate regularly with project managers, architects, designers, and clients. -Anticipate and resolve on-site challenges with sound judgment. -Mentor carpentry staff and foster a collaborative, professional environment. -Maintain accurate records and updates using Buildertrend or similar software. Qualifications -5+ years of residential construction experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. -Strong background in carpentry (framing and finish) and knowledge of building codes. -Proven ability to manage schedules, coordinate trades, and lead site operations. -Skilled in interpreting and executing complex architectural plans. -Strong organizational, communication, and client-relations skills.Proficiency with scheduling tools, Excel, and project management platforms (Buildertrend preferred). OSHA certification preferred. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must currently live and work in the East Bay.
