DISHWASHER Emmi’s in Sierra Madre, is seeking a dishwasher to join our team. As a dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen stays clean, organized, and running smoothly to provide an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This is a PART TIME job to start SUNDAY & MONDAYS required. More hours may be available starting early next year. Key Responsibilities: -Wash dishes and utensils and ensure they are properly cleaned and sanitized. -Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe and clean kitchen environment. -Assist with food preparation, as needed. -Collaborate with the rest of the kitchen team to ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner. -Assist with inventory and ensure that all ingredients and supplies are stocked and organized. -Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, hygiene, and food handling. Candidates will possess the following qualifications: -Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines. -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. -Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. -Strong attention to detail. -Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time. -Flexibility to work early morning, evening, weekends, and holidays as needed. -ServSafe Certified or equivalent. Qualifications Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred. Familiarity with any touchscreen POS system is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques. Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions. Experience in the food industry, including catering or banquet services, is advantageous. Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, some evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
