Position Overview Generation Housing (Gen H) is seeking a skilled and experienced consultant to lead Gen H’s efforts in growing a broad, pro-housing constituency across Napa Valley. This role is centered on cultivating relationships with local leaders, from elected officials to community champions, and convening a sustained, values-driven campaign that connects housing to issues like economic opportunity, education, health, and community well-being. The ideal candidate is a skilled relationship-builder and strong, active listener with experience engaging influential stakeholders, especially across lines of difference. They don’t need to be a housing expert. What matters most is a genuine interest in the importance of housing to the health of the Napa Valley, an ability to unite diverse allies, highlight shared values, and help give voice to the real-life impact of housing challenges on local families, workers, and seniors. The consultant will work closely with and report to the Executive Director and the Director of Special Initiatives of Generation Housing. Key Responsibilities ● Lead pro-housing coalition-building: Build and grow a visible, sustained pro-housing presence in Napa Valley by leveraging existing relationships and cultivating new ones with grasstops stakeholders. The ideal candidate has experience convening these leaders around key community issues. ● Cultivate strategic relationships: Actively build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders. Compensation This part-time contract position requires an average of 20-35 hours per week with a fixed compensation of $28,000 through the end of this year. Location The consultant will be expected to work on-site in Napa Valley, hosting and coordinating in-person meetings and presentations as needed, meeting with elected officials and other stakeholders, and attending relevant community meetings that may include evening hours. Please note that at this time there is no permanent office space designated for this role in Napa Valley, however, we will work with the consultant to secure space for any and all meetings on an as needed basis. Summary of Position The Electrician is responsible for electrical work at St. Joseph Indian School and other properties owned by the same. This is a non-exempt position. Accountability Reports to the Lead Electrician. Responsibilities 1. Repairs, maintains, and installs electrical wiring, equipment, and systems including but limited to switches, outlets, wiring, motors and alarms. 2. Uses diagnostic, test equipment to troubleshoot and identify electrical malfunctions. 3. Replaces, services, bypasses, electrical systems and electrical components. 4. Tests equipment for safety and function using standard test equipment. 5. Installs new equipment, wiring, and circuits following all code and safety requirements. 6. Familiarity with or ability to learn Johnson Controls systems and Metasys. 7. Assists in the maintenance of geo-thermal plant and air conditioning systems. 8. Complies with all safety and health requirements established by local, state and federal laws. 9. Repairs, installs, and trouble shoots all low voltage and communication systems as required. 10. Performs other responsibilities as required by the Lead Electrician. Position Summary: Knik Tribe is looking for a motivated team member who has a passion for creating opportunities for our Tribal Members and eligible participants who reside in our service area. This position will require knowledge, case management, and support for youth victims of substance abuse and/or youth delinquency. Case support will be required to understand and administer grant funds as well as related education programs. This position will provide referral services, career exploration, outreach, advocacy, cultural support, and workshop facilitation. Primary Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to): The successful candidate will: • Provide one-on-one coaching and life skills. • Assist in the facilitation of group activities or workshops. • Work as part of a team: the team includes co-workers, partner agencies and the participant. • Manage an active participant caseload. • Establish goals with youth by administering appropriate assessment tools, interpreting results and developing plans to identify education and career pathways, and/or employment placements. • Maintain regular contact with tribal partners. • Collect and manage required data for quarterly and annual reports. • Provide follow-up contact with program participants in accordance with our federal requirements. • Conducts outreach activities to recruit participation in KT programs/services. This includes attending meetings/coalitions and community outreach events. • Collaborate to foster a multisystemic response to the opioid and substance abuse crisis. • Reduce negative outcomes for youth impacted by opioids and other substances. • Assist in grant writing projects. • Provides administrative/clerical support, filing, data entry and word processing. • Other duties as assigned.
