AmpThink is a leading provider of Technology systems for world class stadiums and arenas throughout North America. We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Customer Experience team. The successful applicant will play a role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of the business. The Staff Accountant will be expected to perform a variety of accounting duties, including but not limited to, maintaining accurate and timely financial records, analyzing financial statements, and reconciling accounts. The Staff Accountant will work in a collaborative environment that values the contributions of every team member and expects performance. Our informal management structure works well for self-starters who are looking for the opportunity to contribute beyond their position and help grow our company. Responsibilities Perform all day-to-day accounting duties, ensuring the accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions Prepare and analyze financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Reconcile bank and credit card statements Assist in the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts Maintain and update the accounting software Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns Assist in various back office administrative responsibilities to support the company workforce Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred Demonstrated experience leveraging technology to streamline and accelerate workflows Minimum of two to five years of experience in an accounting role Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Benefits AmpThink offers benefits which include 3 weeks of paid leave per year, 8 paid holidays, health insurance (PPO) premium paid in full for employees, and a Simple IRA retirement savings plan which matches dollar for dollar up to 3% of employee's annual salary.
