If you are a working professional traveling on assignment, checking out the area, or need somewhere to stay while your house is renovated, this is the place for you. Located in a friendly older neighborhood near the best of Uptown Vancouver: 1. A short walk will bring you to specialized shops, parks, restaurants, bars, Clark Community College, and Marshall Community Center which has a full gym, weight room, pool, etc. 2. Bus lines going in all directions are located within a 3-10 minute walk. 3. A bike will take you to several grocery stores (including New Seasons), downtown, the new waterfront, and Fort Vancouver National Historic Site. 4. Major freeways are located nearby: I-5, SR-500, SR-14. 5. Portland is an easy 9-mile drive south along I-5, and PDX is 15 minutes east along SR-14. 6. The beautiful Columbia River Gorge, Oregon coast, Mount Saint Helens/Hood, and several national/state forests are all under 2 hours away. The room is on the second floor, has plenty of daylight, a wood floor, desk, queen bed with nightstand on either side, loveseat sofa, dresser, smart TV, walk-in closet, all linens/towels, and full private bathroom with walk-in shower. The main room area is 15 ft x 13 ft, but the total area (main area, closet, bathroom) is 308 square feet. The indoor common areas are 999 square feet, so there is plenty of space to spread out and share with the other two renters staying in the remaining rooms. Since the owner lives in the separate Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU), renters effectively have the house to themselves: Laundry room: front loading washer and dryer, iron, ironing board, drying rack Kitchen: gas stove and oven, dishwasher, garbage disposal, all expected gear for cooking/eating, coffee grinder/brewer. Common consumables are always provided: dish soap, sponges, washcloths, paper towels, dishwasher pods, food storage containers, garbage bags. Dining room: 6 seats at large table Living room: smart TV, gas fireplace, cards, games, books, throw blankets Garage: storage for bicycle, luggage, etc. Outdoor common areas: Patio/backyard: raised bed for growing vegetables (if you wish), adirondack chairs, table, barbeque Parking: two driveway spots and plenty of curbside space, all free Outdoor security cameras (no indoor cameras for tenant privacy) Cleaning supplies are available for the room, bathroom, and kitchen All utilities are included. Heating and AC are central. The Wi-Fi is fast. Some important house rules: **No smoking, vaping, or illegal drugs are allowed on premises (indoor or outdoor) **Quiet hours are 10pm to 7am when noise should be kept to a minimum to ensure everyone can sleep peacefully **No pets or aquariums are allowed **Each tenant is allowed up to two daytime guests up to 7 days per month and one overnight guest up to 7 nights per month. Any stays beyond these limits require written approval by the owner. **Only 1 motor vehicle is allowed per resident **Every 3-8 weeks the owner or a paid service will do a maintenance/safety check of the common areas, perform needed work, and clean if necessary.
