Hi! I am seeking a roommate to fill a room in a house in Edgewater. The house is conveniently located several blocks from Sloan's Lake, the Edgewater Public Market, Target, and King Sooper's. Rent is $2,500/month total, split evenly. Utilities usually end up around $200-250/month. The room is available basically immediately, but the owners of the house would like to meet any future tenants and run a background check prior to any lease signing. Ideally, the new lease would start November 1st and run through the end of April. The owners plan to reset the lease term to start in the spring but there will be an option to renew at that time. There is no need to commit to a renewal so this might be a good option for someone looking for a place for 6 months. About the house: 1,056 Sq. Ft. - 3 Bedrooms - 1 bath Technically it is 3 bedrooms but the downstairs bedroom is currently in use as an office. There are two bedrooms on the upper level that are each about 10'x16' with slanted ceilings and one small closet. The rest of the house is shared space, including a dining room, living room, and kitchen. The kitchen includes a dishwasher and washer and dryer. Most of the rest of the house is currently furnished outside of the available bedroom. There is a very nice backyard with a patio, koi pond, and shed for additional storage space. One uncovered off-street parking spot is available. About me: 36 year old single male. I am an attorney and work from home 3 days a week. I have both a cat and a dog, but additional pets are allowed.
