POSITION SUMMARY: Hardware assembly with hand tools into parts across one or more production areas ensuring required standards of quality are met DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: • Demonstrate good hand and eye coordination with the ability to use both hands in installing small hardware pieces (screws/rivets) and insulation. • Optimize daily production and on-time delivery performance • Notifies Supervisor of problems which affect the production/quality of parts • Completes all assignments in a timely manner and procedures are followed. • Responsible for quality and quantity of products. • Works with limited or no supervision • Must have knowledge of material speeds and feeds, fixturing and tooling. REASONING ABILITIES: • Uses good judgment; seeks advice and help when necessary. • Must be able to distinguish between acceptable and non-acceptable parts. Our night shift Operators MUST HAVE at least 3-5 years experience operating CNC Machines. This person should be capable of high-precision work, while acting as a team player. Skills Required • Should be High School Graduate or GED equivalent. • Must have experience with Vertical or Horizontal Machining Centers to operate in a safe and efficient manner. • Preferably candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of experience. • Must have good communication skills both written and verbal. • Must be able to use standard measuring tools effectively. • Must have adequate math skills. • Must be very detailed oriented with good personal organizational skills. • Must be familiar with tooling, fixturing, indexers etc. • Must be able to complete inspection documentation and determine when parts are out of tolerance. • Should be able to train other operators in the process of manufacturing parts. • Must have good manual dexterity and be able to lift 70lbs. • Should have experience in an ISO 9001 environment, 13485 would be helpful.
