Full job description We are looking for a professional and dependable Non-CDL Driver to operate a 26ft box truck for day . This position is ideal for someone who is reliable, safety-focused, and highly familiar with navigating the NJ/NY/PA region, especially the five NYC boroughs. Shifts Day Shift Second Shift: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM – $200/day Requirements -3+ years of proven experience driving a 26ft box truck in the tri-state area -Strong knowledge of Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, and Staten Island -Valid U.S. driver’s license (NJ preferred, 3+ years) with a clean MVR -Current medical card -Ability to pass a background check and drug/alcohol screening -Fluent in English and legally authorized to work in the U.S. -Owns a smartphone with internet access -Physically capable of loading/unloading freight Preferred Skills -Hands-on experience with pallet jacks, hand trucks, scanners, and lift gates -Prior work delivering to stores, malls, and warehouses -Skilled in securing cargo, shrink-wrapping pallets, and scanning/counting freight Job Responsibilities -Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle -Operate the truck safely, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations -Load, unload, and secure cargo for transport -Ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining a professional attitude -Stay in communication with dispatch and customers about delivery status -Submit clear BOL/POD photos after each stop -Support in training new drivers when needed Compensation $1,300-$1800 per week Additional Information After the interview, candidates will be given a driving knowledge test. OVERVIEW: The Habeas Corpus Resource Center (HCRC), a San Francisco-based entity in the judicial branch of California’s state government, has an exciting opportunity for Paralegals and Litigation Support Assistants (Paralegal Track). The HCRC represents clients on California’s death row in post-conviction legal proceedings (called habeas corpus proceedings) in which we investigate and review the constitutionality of our clients’ capital convictions and sentences and file and litigate petitions alleging the ways in which our clients’ constitutional rights were violated during their criminal trials. The HCRC also serves as a resource and provides training to private court-appointed counsel in capital post-conviction proceedings.
